PhotoAcute is a family of products designed to improve the quality of photographs taken with digital cameras and camera phones.
It utilizes super-resolution algorithms to convert a sequence of images into a single picture with higher resolution. Many modern digital cameras and camera phones support the so-called "continuous shooting" or "multishot" or "burst" mode. PhotoAcute converts a set of pictures taken in "continuous shooting" mode into an image with 4 times better resolution and improved quality.

PhotoAcute Studio is an application primarily developed for processing sets of digital photographs taken in "continuous mode" to produce high-resolution, low-noise pictures and improve the quality of the photographs in several other aspects. You can get an amazing image quality improvement without changing your camera.
Unlike the most of digital photography software, PhotoAcute deals with the limits of cameras, not the limits of the photographer.
Size matters, details make the difference (superresolution processing)
By applying state-of-art super-resolution algorithms, tuned to particular camera, PhotoAcute Studio produces up to 4 times larger photographs. That is not the digital zoom - the photographs really have more pixels, thus giving you more details. Small, thin and far away objects, traceries, textures and inscriptions become recognizable.
See it clear (Noise reduction)
By correlating several snapshots, PhotoAcute Studio automatically reduces the noise on the photographs, without loosing the useful graphical information.
Balanced light (brightening and darkening)
PhotoAcute makes both very dark and very light objects visible on the scene. This feature is useful for the photographs with nonuniform illumination (windows, lamps, objects ahead of light source).
Unneeded moving objects removal
PhotoAcute can remove from the picture the objects that moved when the set of photographs was taken. Final photograph looks like there was no moving objects, making no need to cut the object and fill the background manually.
Color fringing correction
Every lens focus the light with different wavelengths on different positions. This causes chromatic aberration that is seen as "fringes" of color around the image. PhotoAcute corrects this aberration, minimizing the circle of confusion.
